In the mountains south of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, is the Creux-de-Van, sometimes spelled Creux de Vente. What would appear a mountain side having slipped into the valley below, this natural wonder of amazing proportions attracts sightseers by the dozens each day. You can hike up from the valley below (highly recommended) or drive up most of the way and take a leisure stroll to the top. And above the rim cattle graze, their neck bells gently make you aware of their presence.
