Locateded in the northern end of the sand peninsula that forms the northernmost arm of the Ebro Delta, we find the lighthouse at Punta del Fangar. Surrounded by mobile dunes, reminiscent of a desert and almost Saharan landscape, which serve as a nesting site for multiple species of water birds. The excursion to get to the lighthouse from the Marquesas beach is highly recommended. An hour or an hour and a half of walking through a wild and deserted beach, in which we will only cross with some gull, cormorant or flamingo in their flights in search of food and place of nesting.
