鳳山區公28公園位於鳳山溪畔，近陸軍官校，面積2.1公頃。原地點是高市警局查扣違規、涉案車輛的移置場，鑑於地方建議與需求改建為公園，並於2012年1月正式啟用。公28公園是縣市合併後在鳳山區興建的第一座公園，與對岸的八仙公園、鳳翔公園及鳳山溪旁綠帶呼應，共同塑造鳳山溪兩岸的生態、親水綠色廊帶，成為周邊社區居民日常休憩運動的主要場所。
