籃筐會為岡山區每年舉辦的節慶活動，已有兩、三百年之歷史，由早期傳統趕集活動延伸發展而成，近年更結合岡山羊肉料理特產，擴大舉辦文化節系列活動更加聲名大噪。籃筐會一年舉辦2~3次，舉辦地點為河華路、巨輪路兩條道路中央和兩側規劃攤位，長約2公里，供籃筐會各種攤位擺設，販售各項商品多元，以竹編籃簍、刀器金屬、雜貨五金為主，成為特殊景觀，每年吸引約10萬人次前往。
