Hidden away on the south-western shores of Derwent Water in the Lake District is Irene's View. It is a simple stone bench with a peaceful and scerene view over the lake.

The panorama was captured on the day before the dreadful flooding of November 2009, and already it is clear how high the lake is as the bench should be surrounded by ground, not water.
