井冈山革命博物馆位于茨坪西坡中段。馆标是“井冈山革命博物故”是由朱德1962年3月重上井冈山时题写的。原馆于1959年国庆10周年时竣工并对外开放，是我国第一个地方性革命博物故，是江西省重点博物故之一。珍藏革命文物6324件，文献资料5000余份，历史图片4000多幅。此外，还珍藏着党和国家领导人毛泽东、朱德、邓小平、江泽民、胡锦涛等视察井冈山的照片和题词。珍藏着毛泽东、朱德和其他老红军战士重上井冈山的电视记录片，以及一批全国社会各界著名人士的书画墨宝真迹。

江西（Jiangxi Province ），简称赣，位于中国的东南部，长江中下游南岸。因公元733年唐玄宗设江南西道而得省名，又因境内主要河流赣江而得简称。自古以来物产富饶、人文荟萃，素有“物华天宝、人杰地灵”之誉。江西总面积16.69万平方公里，人口4432.16万（2009年年底），由11个地级市组成，省会南昌市。
