The Eye of Alabama Arch is located in the Alabama Hills west of Lone Pine, California. The area consists of large jumbled piles of granite boulders w/ the grandiose Sierra Nevada backdrop, scene of many Western films. To the west is a view of the spired Mt. Whitney (elev. 14,494'), the highest point in California & Continental US.
