座落於林園與溪州交界處的林溪禪寺，創建於1959年。自1967年淨心長老接下住持重任後，致力於講經弘法、教化社會、關懷社區，寺眾與信眾與日俱增，香火不輟，導致舊房舍不敷使用，鑒於日後弘法之需，林溪禪寺於1994年重建，歷時十六年始得完成現莊嚴且壯觀的建築。寺僧平日除帶領信眾念經拜懺、齋戒沐浴之外，每月皆安排交通車至小港大寮等地接送年長信眾參與齋戒，使地方居民得親近佛法。
