View from the red-cindered top of Lyons Peak (elev. 7,900') in the eastern end of the Medicine Lake Volcano in northern California. Views to the north of Glass Mountain & the obsidian flow, to the juniper flats in the east, & Mt. Shasta, Mount Hoffman, & nearby Red Shale Butte to the west. This mountain contains a very shallow summit crater to the west that is all forested.
