Milan: Abbey (Abbazia) of Chiaravalle- Entrance
Milan

In the 360 photo is the wide court that brings to the "Abbazia di Chiaravalle". The Chiaravalle Abbey is the most important monument in the suburbs of Milan: not far from the crowded city but in a farming and still quiet area. Founded 1135 by Bernard de Clairvaux (hence the Italian name Chiaravalle, Clear Valley), this Cistercian Abbey with its Monastry was completed in 1221 but further improvements have been added during the centuries.
