This was the first stop on our hike up Mt Yotei in Niseko.

Took about 40 mins to get to this point and i had quite a sweat - stopping and looking up but looking up from the reality always hits me hard when i realise just how far the peak is and how much sweat will be required to get up there.

This pano was taken early in the morning and this side of the mountain was still in the shadow but we scored some sweet weather when the sun did catch us.
