This hill may only be 87 metres above sea level but that gives an amazing viewpoint to see much of Auckland, Rangitoto Island and the container port.

It also houses an enormous cannon that was placed in anticipation of a Russian invasion! I like the fact that it was only fired once, due to the complaints of the locals!
