八一南昌起义纪念塔坐落在江西省南昌市区中心的人民广场南端。1977年“八一南昌起义起义”五十周年时破土兴建，1979年1月8日落成。塔为长方体，总高45.5米。正北面是叶剑英元帅题写的“八一南昌起义纪念塔”九个铜胎鎏金大字，下嵌“八一南昌起义简介”花岗石碑。其他三面是“宣布起义”、“攻打敌营”、“欢呼胜利”三幅大型花岗石浮雕。塔身两侧各有一片翼墙，嵌有青松和万年青环抱的中国工农红军旗徽浮雕。塔顶由直立的花岗石雕“汉阳造”步枪和用红色花岗石拼贴的八一军旗组成。
