Nelson Mandela Square became Nelson Mandela Square in March of 2004 when a 3 meter tall statu of Nelson Mandela was installed to honor the former leader and father of the nation, before that it was known as Sandton Square. Wikipedia

The square is home to several restaurants including; the new Hard Rock Cafe, The Butcher Shop and Grill (steak house), Pappas (Greek), wangthai (Thai), Montigo Bay (seafood), a couple of Italian places, and a few others making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors.

This sphere was taken as an HDR with 3 bracket shots using +/- 1 EV on the exposure. I would like to thank Liberty property management for giving me permission to photograph the square using my tripod.
