The Old Town of Corbera de Ebro (Poble Vell de Corbera d'Ebre in Catalan). The Old Town is the former location of Corbera d'Ebre, a town in the province of Tarragona. The complex is made up of a few streets with collapsed houses and is grouped around the parish church of San Pedro. During the Battle of the Ebro in the Spanish Civil War the town was the front line in August 1938 and it was completely destroyed. The ruins of Corbera were declared a cultural asset of national interest in 1992 by the Generalitat of Catalonia and constitute a monument to Peace.Facade of the Church of San Pedro.
