六龜的浦來溪頭社戰道（浦來今稱寶來），原是一條古戰道，日治時期，日本人為了阻止原住民激烈的抗日行動，沿著美瓏山稜線修築棧道，全長三公里左右，海拔約450至500公尺，現為老少咸宜的步道。步道區具有豐富的植物生態，包括芒果園，竹林、相思林和梅園等。走在步道上，視野遼闊，可遠眺寶來溫泉區全景，有時風和日麗，有時山嵐縹緲，是適合全家旅遊的景點。
