七星墜地位於內門區觀亭里北方，台3號公路旁，其原由可說是當地居民最為津津樂道的傳奇故事。相傳古代有七顆流星隕石墜落於此，形成七個小土堆，排列形狀猶如北斗七星而得名。1960年內門紫竹寺將此7座土堆以鋼筋水泥分別建造高4公尺的七星塔，白天醒目別緻，夜晚燈火通明，和天上北斗七星遙遙相對，互相輝映，是內門區的特殊景觀。
