魚路古道又叫金包里大路，位在陽明山國家公園擎天崗草原北方，地理位置屬於台北縣金山鄉，古道為當時的金包里（金山）漁民運送魚貨到大稻埕等地必經的道路，近年受古道旅遊風氣提昇，成為熱門登山路線。

沿陽金公路抵達上璜溪停車埸，停車埸走約200公尺，即開始一段3.2公里的古道。沿途的人文遺跡及自然景觀變化，為古道中最精采及保存最完整的路段。
