燧皇陵旅游区位于商丘古城西南1.5公里处，西依金桥路，南邻阏伯路、距连霍高速公路、商周高速公路商丘西站仅500米，东至105国道不足5公里，北接古城旅游区，平原路纵穿景区，交通便利，地理位置十分优越。燧皇陵旅游区包括燧皇陵、阏伯台（火星台、火神台）、商祖祠（华商文化广场）、开元寺、玉皇宫以及宋国故城遗址等景点，总占地600多亩。

燧皇陵，又名燧人氏陵，是上古时期发明钻木取火方法的燧人氏的陵寝。由于燧人氏发明钻木取火，使人们吃上了熟食，被称为“火祖”，他与伏羲氏、神农氏号称三皇，而燧人氏被誉为三皇之首。
