九一八纪念馆－位于沈阳东北部，柳条湖立交桥西北，西靠长大铁路，博物馆主体本身就是一座历史纪念建筑物，它以残历碑的形象展现在人们面前。　　在一部巨大石雕台历上密布着千疮百孔的弹痕，隐约可见无数个骷髅，象征着千万个不泯的冤魂在呐喊和呼号。右面的一页铭刻着中国人民永远难忘的最悲痛的日子——1931年9月18日，农历辛未年八月初七日。左面的一页镌刻着“九·一八”事变的史实：“夜十时许，日军自爆南满铁路柳条湖路段，反诬中国军队所为，遂攻占北大营。我东北军将士在不抵抗命令下忍痛撤退，国难降临，人民奋起抗争。”从残历碑正面拱形门进入一楼正厅，迎面黑色大理石上刻有“勿忘国耻”四个大字，在字的上方嵌有一面残月形时钟,其时针指着10时20分,这是日本侵略军发起进攻北大营的时刻。
