位於高雄市六龜區新威里，原是一塊起伏不平的的陵地，當地居民稱為「坪頂」。1957年，由台林務局承租，經整理後成為平整台地，於1960年11月正式落成為「新威苗圃」，現已改為森林公園，主要培育熱帶林苗木為主，是全國最大的育苗苗圃之一，以桃花心木、竹子、杉木最多，成排的林木營造出天然長廊，春夏時綠樹成蔭，到了秋冬葉子轉為紅黃，灑滿一地的景象格外詩情畫意。
