Slot canyon in Cathedral Gorge State Park, Nevada, USA. Created by years of erosion, this is one example of many dramatic and unique slot canyons eroded from bentonite clay. Most are little more than shoulder-wide, which makes passing through them a unique experience.
The park, in southeastern Nevada, has many short trails for exploring the caves and slot canyons. Miller Point is a scenic overlook on the north end of the park with an entrance from US Highway 93. The short canyon can also be accessed from the south, also from US Highway 93.
