Student life at the University of Pretoria’s Hatfield Campus centres around the Piazza in the centre of the campus. The centre is surrounded by the buildings of the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, Faculty of Humanities, Old Chemistry Building, the Merensky Library and the Student Centre. The Student Centre is home to several shops, restaurants and banks. The Student Centre is also home to TuksFM, the University of Pretoria’s radio station, as well as Die Perdeby, the UP student newspaper. The Student Representative Council, SRC, is also housed just behind the Student Centre.
