There is a new hut at this old market -

small coffee shop just opened in the old pumphouse in the middle of the square.

Located in the heart of the Old Town (Gamla Stan) at Stortorget square (close to the Royal Palace) it is one of oldest and most traditional Christmas Market in Stockholm .

Swedish Christmas sweets, smoked sausages, reindeer- and elkmeat and other delicacies, glögg (mulled wine) and a range of Swedish handicrafts are sold here .
Stockholm is covered with snow ( that easily transforms into mud ) this december.
