漯底山是大自然賦予彌陀的大自然珍貴資產，長期為軍方要塞管制區，直至2006年軍方撤哨，解除管制並交由當時彌陀鄉公所代管，成立「漯底山自然公園」，方解開神秘面紗。2008年鄉公所斥資300餘萬元，完成登山休閒棧道、觀景台、植樹綠美化、聯外道路等工程後，開放予民眾從事登山休閒活動。
