Taining Ancient Town located northwest in Fujian Province, is a primitive and elegant place. The most intact residence architectures of Ming and Qing dynasty and numerous relics and newly built antique architecture co-exist with ancient architectures. Taining is a global geopark and one of top ten attractive towns in China.

泰寧位於福建西北、武夷山南麓，素有「漢唐古镇、两宋名城」美譽，縣城中心還保留一批明清時期古民居，最具代表性的便是「尚書第」，儒學大師朱熹曾在此講學，文化古跡不少，周邊有丹霞地貎的世界地質公園寨下大峽谷，大金湖的甘露岩寺，當地政府近年大力打造旅遊業，在縣城中心拆舊建新，建造了一批白色牆身的新徽派翹角仿宋建築，營造古城的風貎吸引遊人。
