從漁人碼頭大門口進入港區，看到的是一片綠意盎然的草坪及造型特殊的榕樹。

靠近福容飯店有一座美人魚噴水池，稱為「豐腴美人魚」，靈感源自安徒生童話故事。安徒生的童話故事讓人魚公主的癡戀為世人傳頌，名聞于世的美人魚雕塑落在丹麥哥本哈根港，悠悠的視線遙望無垠的海平線，碧綠海洋遠處突現片片無限愛的浪花，領路海豚穿梭嬉浪其中。
