無耳茶壺山位於茶壺山登山步道往上，攀爬約30分鐘處，自黃金博物園區盡頭的石階可達茶壺山登山步道入口。自黃金博物園區的方向往茶壺山望去，外型像是茶壺沒錯，但若自水湳洞的方向看來，茶壺山卻又不像茶壺，而是一隻睡獅俯臥在山坡之上，所以無耳茶壺山又稱作獅子岩山。從這裡可以看出大自然的鬼斧神工，如施了魔法似的將茶壺山的兩面都安排了一種特殊的形狀排列，另旅人在賞玩茶壺山的外觀，同時也可以細思大自然的巧思與力量。
