The Monument To A. I. Tekutiev Tyumen. Tekutiev Boulevard Tyumen.

Andrey Ivanovich Tekutiev (1839-1916) was from a major employer that were included in the three richest people in the Tobolsk province. However, he became famous as a generous philanthropist who did much for Tyumen, and for their benefactions in 1906 received the title of "Honorary citizen of Tyumen".

Decades later, descendants remembered the patron. In 2007, a competition was announced for the monument to Andrew Tikatevu. The competition was won by the Ekaterinburg art Fund, in the workshops which was created the sculpture. The author of the monument was made by honored sculptor of Russia Andrey Antonov and the architect Dmitry Belik. The architect had to do a lot of work to organically enter a monument in the architectural environment of the city. The city authorities, too, soon decided on the location of the monument, and eventually a monument not managed to deliver to the City Day.

The monument was made of bronze. The monument height about 2 m and a weight of about 2 t Patron depicts a true Master, he's overbearing, he's relaxed and confident in his abilities. Industrialist sitting in a chair, but is willing to immediately jump on their urgent business. On the monument is a simple inscription: "Tekuchev". The site of the monument was laid out with tiles, and next installed two lighting post lanterns, stylized 19th century.

The monument was erected in the middle of Teculescu Boulevard August 12, 2008 on the eve of the Day of the Tyumen region. At the opening ceremony was attended by many citizens of Tyumen, near the monument was put up a guard of honor. The monument was consecrated by the Ministers of the Tobolsk-Tyumen diocese with the blessing of Archbishop the Tobolsk and Tyumen Demetrios. The first flowers to the monument laid, the couple Alexander and Maria Grigoriev, then the first person in the city and region, and finally ordinary citizens.
