This was the spectacular view we saw after coming out of the tunnel (which you can see behind you) in the cirques near Cilaos on the island of Réunion.  This is part of the most popular drive on Réunion.  The road (called "N5") has many, many curves/hairpin turns - in fact, someone reported it has over 430 turns from bottom to top.  I believe it!

Coincidentally, we ran into another sailor we know also taking in this view.  We didn't even know he had sailed his boat to Réunion.  It's a small world!
