位於甲仙區的小林紀念公園佔地約1.7公頃，於2012年建造完工啟用，提供村民與到訪者憑弔、紀念於莫拉克颱風豪雨山崩的462位當地罹難者。小林紀念公園從文化歷史、生態景觀、交通運輸、災難紀念及永續經營等五個方向整體規劃，園內設有追思廣場、小林公祠、兩側刻有逝者姓名的苦路、眺望樓台、沉思橋以及由石塊堆成九公尺高的紀念碑等。在此亦可遠眺500公尺外的小林村遺址，使村民在緬懷逝者的同時，也獲得新生及重建的力量。
