镇江寺位于正街北首，与古龙寺遥遥相对，是千年码头王爷坎上的一座千年古刹，供奉镇江王爷杨泗以保平安，为旧时船帮祭祀集会的场所。寺前千年古榕寄生辣椒、成为奇观。镇江寺对面是锦江与鹿溪河的交汇口（两河口），锦江水清、鹿溪水褐，可见“黄龙渡清江，真龙内中藏”的景观，这也是“黄龙溪”地名的由来。
