Zhaixia Big Valley situated in the northwest part of the Big Golden Lake, Taining County, Fujian, CN. This region is charactarized by typical Danxia landform based on the red sandstones and conglomerates of the late Cretaceous. The landform owes its origin to such processes, the activity of faults and joints due to neo-tectonic movement, gravitational collapse along the faults, weathering and erosion. The red cliffs, caves, linear and lane valleys and barrier lakes are all seen in the region.

寨下大峽谷位於福建泰寧縣大金湖西北部，區內分布距今6500萬年前的晚白堊世崇安組紅色砂礫岩，受新構造運動產生的斷裂、節理及重力崩塌、風化剝蝕作用，發育成典型的丹霞赤壁、洞穴、巷谷、線谷及崩塌堰塞湖丹霞地貎。
