Located along Boston's Freedom Trail, the Old North Church is the oldest standing church in Boston and it is the place that all Americans associate with the beginning of the American Revolutionary War. Robert Sexton was entrusted to signal Paul Revere from the church's high steeple as to the British Army's approach using the famous lanterns "one if by land, two if by sea".
