Hiked along the bisse Heido in the Nanz Valley. The "bisses" or Suonen are traditional irrigation channels built several centuries ago to water the cultivated land with previous glacier water.

The Suone Heido was first mentioned in 1305. There is a wonderful trail following this water channel.

I took the Postauto to Visperterminen and the chairlift up to Giw.

Here on the Gibidum Pass is a nice looking small lake feed by the Suone Heido.

I photographed this panorama two minutes after the first panorama. The Suone Heido trail goes direction sun. Does not look too promising. It is cold up here.
